meet your instructor

as a lifelong dancer and nurse, I've always had a passion for creative movement.

 Danielle took her first barre class in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the practice. She was drawn to the combined elements of ballet, pilates, yoga, and musicality and quickly became enamored with this style of movement. She loved the energy it brought to her life and the positive changes to her mind, body, and overall health. Danielle completed her teacher training at the Barre Guild Academy in 2019 and Yoga + YS  Teacher Training at CorePower in 2020. Danielle brings her many years of professional dance training to her classes. Her classes are empowering, upbeat, and will leave you feeling strong and beautiful inside and out!

Class descriptions

Barre

Sustained holds, micro-movements and upbeat playlists. this total body workout will leave you feeling powerful & smiling.

Yoga Sculpt

Yoga sculpt combines traditional yoga poses  with weights and cardio. This class is designed to target every major muscle group.  

Sweat & Connect

A blend of both barre & yoga! 45 minutes of movement followed by a virtual coffee chat with the other class participants!

DO I NEED TO BE A DANCER TO DO BARRE?

this is a very common misconception! You do NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY DANCE EXPERIENCE TO PARTICIPATE IN BARRE CLASS! IF YOU ARE NEW TO BARRE, I HAVE A FREE BARRE 101 TUTORIAL ON MY ON-DEMAND LIBRARY. I BREAK DOWN TERMINOLOGY & FORM IN THIS VIDEO. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT MY BLOG FOR MORE TIPS! I WILL OFFER GUIDANCE AND SIMPLE, CLEAR CUEING IN EVERY CLASS.

ARE YOUR CLASSES PRE/POSTNATAL FRIENDLY?

YES! AS A MOTHER MYSELF, I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO MOVE YOUR BODY IN A JOYFUL WAY DURING PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM. I PARTICIPATED IN BARRE CLASSES MYSELF THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE PREGNANCY AND AM FAMILIAR WITH THE SAFETY modificationS. IF YOU ARE EXPECTING OR NEWLY POST-NATAL, PLEASE DO GET THE OK FROM YOUR DOCTOR AND LET ME KNOW AT THE START OF CLASS! 

ARE THE CLASSES RECORDED?

YES! EVERY LIVE CLASS THAT YOU REGISTER FOR WILL BE RECORDED AND UPLOADED TO MY ON-DEMAND LIBRARY. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RE-WATCH THE CLASS ANYTIME BY SIMPLY LOGGING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT.

YES! MY CLASSES ARE ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS AND AGES. I OFFER MANY MODIFICATIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN CLASS TO ALLOW SPACE FOR YOU TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR BODY NEEDS. I AM COMMITTED TO MY CLASSES BEING INCLUSIVE, ACCESSIBLE AND SAFE.

YES! YOU CAN PURCHASE A CLASS PASS AT A DROP-IN RATE OR PURCHASE A CLASS PASS FOR A DISCOUNTED RATE. PRICING OPTIONS ARE PRESENTED AT THE CHECKOUT!

WHAT IF I AM INJURED?

IF YOU ARE INJURED, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY A PHYSICIAN TO PARTICIPATE IN EXERCISE. IF YOU HAVE BEEN CLEARED, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE BEFORE CLASS SO THAT WE CAN DISCUSS THE SAFEST OPTIONS FOR YOU.
